The Look In His Eyes

My idea of a date is a disaster, but thankfully, Connor rescues me in time. I don’t know what I would have done. I’m disappointed and angry. Why do I have to come across these douchebags every time? Or I may have started comparing every man with Connor unintentionally. Connor is way younger than me, but he never oversteps his boundaries and is always respectful toward me. I know he likes me, and I’m failing badly at fighting the attraction I feel for him. I know dating younger men is no longer taboo, but I can’t move forward. Maybe my professional boundaries are hindering me from making any move.

After dealing with Raymond, we go to Connor’s home as he says we need to talk. His lounge room has a couch, some plants, and a huge LED TV. I wait for him as he brings me a glass of water and sits beside me. The thought of being with him makes my heart beat faster. I’m afraid I will give away my feelings, and his first question confirms my suspicion.

He’s sitting only a few inches apart from me, and the look in his eyes makes my heart flutter. He has been watching me and knows exactly how I feel about him. I’m trying hard not to surrender to my feelings, but his questions are igniting my feelings further.

With my wrist in his strong grip and looking into my eyes, he says, “Connor, what, Erica? Tell me that your heart is not racing at the moment. Tell me you’re not feeling the urge to be in my arms and give in to your feelings?”

This is it! I say to myself, I cannot resist this man anymore. He is leaning closer, and I can almost feel his breath on my face. I stutter and say, “Connor, I…. I know what you’re trying to say, but….?

“But what?” he asks, cupping my face.

His hands are still feeling my body, and I have my breath hitched. I say, “C…Connor, you need to let me go…”

He suddenly places his finger on my lips, saying, “Shhhh… Erica. Don’t ruin the moment. Just stay here for a while.”

My hair has covered my face from the side, and he slides it back while looking deeply into my eyes. My heart is racing, and it’s getting hard to resist. One hand rests on my back, and the other caresses my cheek. His eyes are full of desire, evident in his every action. I try to move, but he pulls me into a deep, passionate kiss. I’m too dumbfounded to do anything and don’t even know what to do, but feeling his lips brushing against mine and his hands caressing my body, I soon give in to the impulse and reciprocate the kiss. It was as if he had been waiting for me to accept his move, and his kiss deepened. He forces open my mouth by pushing his tongue inside. He is devouring my mouth and rubbing his tongue against mine.
